I built mine the same way I’ll build yours.
Hi. I'm Connor. I've built dozens of websites, going back to when I was a kid. The lawn-care business came later: A Cut Above Yard Services, here in Guelph.
My first version of its site was on Wix. Then Google Sites. Eventually real code. Most service-business owners will tell you the website is the part they hate. For me it's the opposite, which is exactly why I wanted it to be better.
I wanted A Cut Above at the top of Google, and I figured out fast that getting there meant leaving the template and building the thing properly, one page per service. Then I went to other businesses and said: this is how it needs to be done now.
Every business owner I talk to says the same thing about their website: it's expensive, it's slow, the people building it don't understand the work, and it still doesn't bring leads.
I built FoundFirst to fix that. I'm based in Puslinch, just outside Guelph, and I build and rank every site myself.

How much does a website cost?
Builds start at $1,000. Where yours lands depends on the size of the site, what it has to do, and the work it takes to rank it. Every site is a one-time build fee plus a small monthly that keeps it hosted, monitored and ranking. You own the site, and you can cancel with 30 days' notice. You always see the working preview before any conversation about price.
How long does it take?
A working preview usually takes days, not months, because the site is built for real from the start rather than designed first and coded later. Taking it live on your domain, moving an old site and the first round of ranking work add time on top, depending on scope.
Do you do SEO, or just design?
Both. Every site is built with SEO in its structure, and ongoing local SEO (Google Business Profile work, content and ranking checks) is part of the monthly. If you already have a site you want to keep, the Guelph SEO page explains the free ranking audit.
Do I own the site?
Yes. The code, the domain and the content are yours. The monthly covers hosting, uptime monitoring, edits and ongoing SEO work, and you can cancel anytime with 30 days' notice.
Can you guarantee I’ll rank first?
No. Nobody controls Google, so nobody honest can promise a position. What you can check is history: MBP Outdoor Services is #1 on Google for “hardscaping port elgin” and A Cut Above Yard Services is #2 for “lawn care guelph” (checked September 2026). Search them before you spend anything.
Do you work outside Guelph?
Yes. Guelph is home base, and the same work runs for service businesses across Wellington County, Waterloo Region and up to Saugeen Shores on Lake Huron.
